About Acorn Toolkit

Acorn Toolkit is a collection of 91+ free online tools for everyday file and number tasks: compressing, merging, splitting and signing PDFs; converting and resizing images; reading text from photos; calculating loans, mortgages and percentages; and converting units like centimeters to inches or kilograms to pounds.

What you can do here

Every tool has a short guide, answers to common questions and links to related tools, so you can finish the whole job in one place — for example, scan to PDF, remove blank pages, sign, then compress for email.

Privacy first: your files stay on your device

Most online converters upload your documents to their servers. Acorn Toolkit works differently: the PDF and image tools run directly inside your web browser using JavaScript. Your contracts, ID cards, bank statements and photos are never uploaded, stored or seen by us. That also makes the tools fast, because nothing has to travel over the internet. The only exception is the image-to-text tool, which downloads its language data once — your image still stays on your device.

Free for everyone

There is no account, no daily limit and no watermark. The site is supported by a small number of advertisements, which are kept away from buttons and downloads so they never get in your way.

Accuracy

Calculators use standard financial formulas, and unit converters use the official definitions of each unit (for example, 1 inch is exactly 2.54 cm). Results are estimates for everyday use and are not financial, legal or professional advice.
